Know Your Coffee: Naturally Neighbors
A lot of coffee farmers in nicaragua - and the world - are too small to create a full export on their own. coffee is typically just a small part of what farmers produce on their land - often time growing carrots, peas, beans & other vegetables. the coffee production may max out at just a few pounds or a few hundred pounds.
This lot of coffee is not only a product of this fact but also a celebration of micro-coffee producers in the area of jinotega, Nicaragua. It’s exciting to see yet another example of how working together can help accomplish bigger things that what we on our own are even capable.
expect beauty in the cup. clean & vibrant tropical notes that echo fresh plums, red currants & raspberry truffles. despite being made up of several producers this is still a micro-production & is limited by nature.
